To God be all the glory for the Signs of Life Saturday and Go Sunday. The Lord answered prayer by holding off the rain both days and by allowing us to serve and share Christ with many people throughout our community. Many seeds were planted and watered at the laundromats, post office, CADA park, apartment and mobile home complexes, along Highway 11 through our sign ministry, in the parking lot through our car washing ministry, in the gym through the free lunch, and through our free yard sale at the bus building. Now we must pray to the Lord of the harvest to cause them to grow and bear fruit, and we must enter into the process of cultivation.

ï‚· Cultivate: to foster the growth of; to improve by labor, care, or study; to prepare and work in order to raise crops; further; encourage; to devote oneself to; to develop or improve by education or training; to make friends with If the Lord allowed you or your team to connect with people in any of these areas, please make an effort to follow-up with them and to cultivate.

Cultivating is a good way to describe what Jesus commanded us to do in the Great Commission, and it is what Paul did on his missionary journeys. In Acts 14:21-23 we read, "They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said. Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust." Following Christ involves a life-long process of planting, watering, and cultivating, which leads to fruitfulness.

 Following Him,

Pastor Daniel
